The Jessop Townhouse with its understated façade conceals so much more than just a bed and breakfast. Inside, it is just like a fabulous top-drawer boutique hotel and the accommodations are simply stunning: all of the beautiful en suite bedrooms are individually designed and furnished to enhance the original features and character of this beautiful house. There are eight bedrooms to chose from and the larger rooms have super kingsize beds and a huge sofa. Gay Friendly Bed and Breakfast Tewkesbury Corner Cottage Bed and Breakfast, Stow Road, Alderton, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire  www.cornercottage-bedandbreakfast.co.uk In the village of Alderton on the fringe of the Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham near to the mediaeval town of Tewkesbury sits Corner Cottage, which prior to its sympathetic conversion in 1994 into a bed and breakfast was two farm cottages. Corner Cottage provides comfortable and homely bed and breakfast accommodation and has three beautifully presented en-suite cottage style bedrooms, named after the surrounding hills that can be viewed from their windows: Dixton and Washbourne rooms are double or twin with en-suite showers and the Frampton Bedroom which is a cosy Double with en-suite bath-shower over. All of these pretty rooms come equipped with toiletries, clock radio, Freeview TV, hair dryer, generous hospitality tray and an ironing station is available on request. There is a superb guest sitting - breakfast room and talking of breakfasts, here at Corner Cottage they are an occasion. Caroline and Keith provide a generous and varied breakfast menu using locally produced provisions wherever possible and the breakfasts are just to die for, and something that’s as rear as hens teeth: Caroline understands vegetarians and will, given notice, cater for special diets. Caroline dose not serve lunch or evening meals, but there are a myriad of local pubs so you will be spoiled for choice. The location of Corner Cottage is fabulous for touring this beautiful area and Keith in his past life was a cartographer for 19 years at Gloucestershire for the Ordnance Survey, so if you want to know places of interest and how to get there, he’s your man.
